David Morris

David Morris has been involved in the LNG industry for the last 12 years following periods of his career spent trading natural gas, power and coal in Europe and also developing IPPs in Asia.

David successfully led the E.ON project team that acquired E.ON’s first re-gasification capacity at Grain LNG which kick-started their LNG activities.  Following this, David successfully set up, developed and then managed E.ON’s LNG trading team, acting as the key driver behind E.ON’s move into buying FOB cargoes and transacting the LNG world’s first commercial re-load into Asia. His final spell with E.ON / Uniper was based out in Singapore, where over a three year period David helped set up the office structure and subsequently spent his time opening doors for E.ON and subsequently Uniper in Asia, specialising in LNG origination and wider LNG-to-power business development in the region.

David’s knowledge and experience covers near-enough the whole LNG spectrum, from re-gasification contracts, through short-term trading to long-term origination, price reviews and re-negotiations.
